Event Policies
Event Registration Policy
All members, non-members, and guests must register in advance to attend any RRAA event.
Member registrations must be canceled no later than five days prior to any event. If the reservation is not canceled, the price of the ticket becomes the responsibility of the member to pay.
RRAA Photo Release
By registering to attend events, I allow the River Region Apartment Association to use my photo and/or testimonial in traditional print and/or electronic forms of communication.
RRAA Event Liability Waiver & Release
By registering to attend an RRAA event, I acknowledge that I am doing so voluntarily and with an understanding of the risks that I could sustain a physical injury or become ill, including but not limited to COVID, because of my participation in this and any other RRAA event.
By attending this RRAA event, I further hereby assume the risk of injury or illness and the responsibility for my own well-being.
I hereby waive and release RRAA and their employees or other affiliated representatives from all liability for claims related to my registration for, attendance at, and participation in this event, including for any injuries, illness, or other damages that I may incur.
I further acknowledge that I will abide by all RRAA and venue-sponsored guidelines, including ones implemented for the safety of you and all others present.RRAA is taking safety at our events seriously. If you choose to attend an RRAA event, please keep in mind the CDC recommendations on how to keep yourself and others healthy.
RRAA has implemented the following measures to promote the health and wellbeing of attendees and staff:
• We ask that you stay home if you have had close contact with a person who has symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
• If you are sick or feel like you are getting sick, we ask that you please stay home. • Attendees are encouraged to bring and use masks at the event. Depending on the mask mandate at the time of the event, the mask may or may not be required for the event.
• Masks are strongly encouraged in settings where individuals might raise their voices.
• When possible, social distance and stay 6 feet apart.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue and restrooms will be available.
• Avoid shaking hands with other event attendees.
